Short post for this day! We had a relaxing Saturday daytime and then headed to the Italian supermarket in Maidenhead (highly recommended) to buy the ingredients to make top notch stay at home pizzas!
Our guests for the evening, the ever delightful Felicity and Neil. Side story...Daniel and Neil are slightly (completely) obsessed with Alfa Romeos, both being proud owners of one. The Italian supermarket has stocked an Alfa Romeo red wine for some time and I always think about buying it but it's £15 which is risky! However, on this visit there was a new Alfa Romeo wine..pink fizz! Well, who could resist this?! Not me! It turns out it was actually really good and I'm not a fizz fan in general, so it was a great way to kick off our evening!
Some excellent pizzas (even if the boys meddled with some!), a game of Cut It (like Pictionary but cutting - it's the most hilarious game) and lots of laughter....a fantastic Saturday night. Thanks guys!
